I. START PACKET CAPTURE ON ETHERNET PORT AND SAVE IT TO FILE
First I select the right interface which is "wired" in this case.
Then I click on eth0.
Then I click on the blue shark fin to start capturing packets.
I then stop the packet transfer by clicking the red square.
I then click on the save button and name that file "packet capture 1".
Important to remember to stop capture before being able to save a file.
In order to open that file we'll have to click on open and click on the file needed.
II. USE WIRESHARK TO CAPTURE AND OBSERVE ETHERNET ON HTTP AND HTTPS, EXCLUDING ONE IP ADDRESS
I clear the cache in the browser
I start a packet capture on the ethernet
I visit google.com, duckduckgo.com and http://cygwin.com
I stop the packet capture and save capture to "googleduck"
I create a filter to just display HTTP and HTTPS
I now want to eliminate the Ip address 34.160.144.191 from the displayed packet
